Genentech, Inc. seeks a Lead IT Project Manager in its South San Francisco, California location.
Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources and provide IT (information technology) insights and recommendations. Develop IT product strategies for master data and organizational data management in a multi-domain setting. Define IT product requirements and develop IT product roadmaps. Assess change requests that impact data management processes and systems. Participate in, lead, and oversee Agile sprints for IT projects. Identify forward-looking IT product features, in collaboration with peers and overall data portfolio stakeholders. Prioritize backlog items for Agile sprints, ensuring full closure in delivering to IT product operational stages. Manage master data IT assets pertaining to customer, payer, and product domains. Create and manage budget at project level and ensure that assigned projects are executed within the planned budget with high quality. May supervise up to 0-4 Business or Data Analysts, Solution Architect, Project Managers or related role). Telecommuting is permitted full-time from anywhere in the US.
Education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Software Developer/Engineer, Lead or Manager; Data Management Architect or Lead; IT Project Manager, or related role

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of California is $177,168 to $195,300 per year. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below. - 5 years of experience with master data management processes
- 5 years of experience with data architecture and data modelling
- 5 years of experience with project and program management using Agile and Waterfall
- 3 years of experience with Reltio master data management platform
- 3 years of experience with data governance, data privacy, and data quality frameworks
