We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of Q1 in 2024. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company".

The Impact You'll Make in this Role:
As a 650 Pilot/Chief Pilot/Aviation Director you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations, compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), other Federal and State laws and regulations
• Works with 3M Leadership Team to update, develop and deploy the Aviation strategic plan
• Acts as a Pilot in Command and supervises aircraft crews
• Develops Standard Operating Procedures and ensures compliance
• Develops and implements all required approved training programs for crewmembers
• Supervises the Aviation Scheduler, Aviation Maintenance Team, and the Pilots
• Establishes standards for employee recruitment and retention in an effort to increase Aviation's brand, inclusion and overall employee satisfaction

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Ten (10) years of flight experience
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating
• Current/valid FAA First Class Medical certificate
• FCC Radio license
• Current type rating for G650
• 4000 hours fixed wing experience
• 3000 hours fixed wing turbine experience
• 2000 hours Pilot in Charge (PIC)
• Valid U.S. passport

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Facilities Management, Services Management, Management, Aviation Management or related discipline
• Experience working with external vendors/service providers
• International flight experience
• Part 91 corporate flight experience
• Flight operations management/leadership experience
• Excellent communications skills (oral, written and presentation) combined with the ability to influence others

Location: Ft. Lauderdale. Florida
Travel: May include up to 60% domestic/international travel

The expected compensation range for this position is $251,462 - $307,343, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
