We'reseeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for a temporary position, starting February 9th and running through mid-May. You will collaborate with a supportive team to empower a fantastic group of students in grades 6 and 8.
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for 8 exceptional students with diverse learning needs (primarily Specific Learning Disabilities and Other Health Impairments).
- Utilize engaging and effective instructional strategies to promote academic,social,and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers,related service providers,and families to ensure a prehensive and supportive learning environment.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom munity that celebrates individual strengths and encourages active participation.
- Continuously improve your practice through professional development and reflection.
You are a great fit if you:
- Possess a valid WI state Special Education teaching license.
- Have experience working with students with diverse learning needs,particularly Specific Learning Disabilities and Other Health Impairments.
- Demonstrate strong instructional skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
- Can build positive relationships with students,families,and colleagues.
- Are a team player with excellent munication,collaboration,and problem-solving skills.
- Are passionate about advocating for students with disabilities and ensuring their success.
