6-9 grade Math and ELA Small Group Tutor

Applerouth is seeking seasonal in-school small-Group Tutors in middle school math, ELA, and 9th-grade Algebra 1 for the 2024 Spring Fulton County Schools semester. Set weekly schedules during school hours. Depending on the school, instructors should expect 2-4 days of 6-12 hours per week. Our instructors work with 3-6 students at a time who are a grade level behind in Math and/or ELA during their class period. Our primary focus should be building confidence and addressing weak areas in content. Materials are provided.

We’re looking for dedicated tutors/educators to join us as we tackle a big challenge: building reading and math skills with elementary and middle school students throughout Fulton County to overcome learning losses as a result of pandemic-related school disruptions. You’ll be able to do meaningful, high-impact work in a school district where students truly need your guidance to succeed. We offer our instructors career growth, an effective support team, and a chance to work with students directly.

This flexible, part-time seasonal position involves:

• meeting in-person with individuals or Small Groups
• wage is $25 / hour + non-taxed travel

Requirements:

• Content knowledge of middle school Math and ELA, and/or 9th grade Algebra 1 and Geometry
• Access to reliable transportation
• High school diploma
