401K Administrator

Local business has an immediate opening to handle the day-to-day administration of 401(k) plans and other qualified retirement plans. This is a full-time position in Overland Park, KS. Bachelor's degree required. Business Administration or Accounting degree preferred. Entry level position with training provided.
Responsibilities:

- Day-to-day administration, compliance testing, profit-sharing calculations and plan document review for Defined Contribution Retirement Plans.

- Work with some of our company’s current clients and build on existing, long-term relationships.

- Communicate with clients, financial advisors, accountants and investment vendors.

- Reconcile financial statements.

- Process distribution and loan requests.

- Prepare reports and IRS Form 5500 filings.

Requirements:

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

- Problem solving skills.

- Team player in friendly office environment.

- Manage time effectively.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
