Job Description
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
- Aligns parts between fixtures or positions them against fixtures on machine or gauging device.
- Activate controls to cause machine to complete one cycle.
- Removes and checks parts visually and/or with a gauging device.
- Completes all required production reporting including SPC - charts, timecards, cost cards, and other reports as needed.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers.
- Computer literate, along with effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence & memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in various units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds regularly.
- Ability to actively participate in a fast paced, team environment.
- Basic computer skills.
