Performs skilled maintenance and repair on all areas of refrigerated and dry trailers

ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities:
Responsible for repairs to air brake and suspensions Changing cables, drums, and operators of roll-up doors Replaces flooring, roof and side panels of trailers, welding as needed regarding trailer structure Trouble shooting and repairing of electrical wiring on trailer lights Responsible for repairing and maintaining all refrigeration units Assists with projects related to maintaining the trailer fleet Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift to 100 lbs. Performs and records preventive maintenance Adheres to all company and federal safety requirements Assists with trailer movement with spotter May be required to perform other tasks as needed.
QualificationsDesirable Qualifications:
1-2 years of vocational/technical training in automotive, diesel or body repair programs 5-10 years hands on diagnosis and repair Air conditioning certified ASE Certifications in the following: Suspension, Air Brake, Diesel Engine Experience with electrical repair and diagnosis Preventative maintenance experience required Proficient welding skills at either stick or MiG - steel or aluminum Intermediate computer skills needed
