Job Description
$19.77/hour -Incremental raises starting at 30 days
o Previous machine operating experience preferred (I.e., experience with tube benders, press brakes and steel saws.)
o Ability to read tape measure, calipers, and micrometer is required.
o Understanding of metric and decimal measurements.
o Knowledge of computers to utilize IQMS as required.
o Skills in reviewing and accurately interpreting blueprint drawing for part number, tolerance, dimensions, etc.
Responsibilities:
o Performs tasks safely including wearing safety glasses and gloves as described in JHA requirements.
o Sets up, adjusts, and operates machines to produce quality parts.
o Opens and closes work orders in IQMS dashboard.
o Prints drawings in IQMS dashboard.
o Produces high quality parts from prints, knows model numbers, and which components are required for the products.
o Consistently produces at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision.
o Troubleshoots machine problems. (I.e., machines, tools, etc.).
o Corrects machine and tooling setup for press brakes, drilling centers, and benders.
o Keeps tooling in top operating condition. (I.e., sharpens in house when feasible or notifies engineering when tool needs sharpening.
o Performs normal maintenance activities such as die sharpening, shimming, and mounting.
o Takes ownership of assigned equipment for 5S programs. I.e., cleanliness, spares, tool shadow boards, etc.
o May program new products on CNC equipment by using prints and machine/tooling knowledge. o Makes recommendations for tooling replacement, repair, and purchase.
o Mentors and coaches other Machine Operators to help them improve these skills and abilities.
o Fills in or assists in leading production team when needed.
o Performs tasks safely including wearing safety glasses and gloves as described in JHA requirements.
o Performs other duties as assigned.

o Requires the ability to distinguish between speech, machinery, and other sounds to understand instructions and/or directions.
