Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Inspect gages daily for currency and take responsibility for quality checks every shift, disposing nonconformance's within designated authority to sustain product flow.
-Drive daily OEE about 85% for uninterrupted hourly production rates.
-Ensure continuous operations by staggering breaks and meals, facilitating smooth shift changeovers, and utilizing the 15-minute shift overlap for production and 7S execution.
-Maintain one-week packed stock for domestic and two-week packed stock for international orders, ensuring seamless 25x5 production.
-Utilize materials and supplies in accordance with designed purpose, identify and deliver opportunities to conserve resources, cut costs, and increase efficiency.
-Lead designated Kaizen events and oversee equipment maintenance and inventory, executing minor purchases for quick issue resolution in production.
-Track, support, and coordinate preventative maintenance checks to ensure equipment uptime and life are maximized and maintenance expenses are reduced.
-Ensure accurate inventory creation and reporting, with daily verification of numbers and discipline maintenance of neat, organized, and labeled inventory.
-Implement FIFO inventory flow, conduct monthly cycle counts, and perform daily checks to address any moved inventory in the assigned area, pre-staging for scheduled operations.
-Conduct comprehensive forensic analysis with a cross-functional team to determine the actual root cause of machine, tool, and equipment crashes, maintaining an action log for Root Cause Corrective Actions and driving full resolution to prevent re-occurrence.
-Identify and address manufacturing issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity, managing daily reports, performance, and addressing deficiencies.
-Implement departmental KPIs, goals, and procedures, investigate and resolve process disruptions, determine staffing requirements, and monitor manufacturing training plan for activity and effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and Plex.
-Well-versed in Root Cause Analysis Techniques, including Basic 5 Why and Fishbone Analysis.
-Possess process knowledge in molding, sintering, secondary operations, and shipping, along with skills in blueprint reading and leadership.
