Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Printer Operator for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the automatic cycle hydraulic transfer presses supporting production. YOU MUST INTERVIEW FOR THIS POSITION.
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Printer Operator for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the automatic cycle hydraulic transfer presses supporting production. YOU MUST INTERVIEW FOR THIS POSITION.
Pay Rate:
$18.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Thursday 7:00 pm-7:00 am.

Printer Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
• Remain up-to-date on the production schedule including identification of the size, style, and specification of can to be produced and perform immediate visual and dimensional inspection of cans.
• Maintain condition of printing plates by cleaning and recovering plates before returning them to ink room when an order is complete.
• Oversee can quality (visual checks against sample cans provided by QA), white tops (application of caps), varnish flow, label quality, cans going to washer, cans being painted, wash and rinse tank levels and cleanliness.
• Record accurate and appropriate data on printer data and downtime sheets.

Printer Operator Qualifications and Requirements:
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience with industrial print equipment and/or machine setup/operation is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, problem solving, performing root cause analysis, and related process improvement activities.
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 or 12 hours.
• Background check drug screen required.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience with industrial print equipment and/or machine setup/operation is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, problem solving, performing root cause analysis, and related process improvement activities.
