Rudolph Foods Company, the Worlds Largest Manufacturer of Pork Rinds is looking for qualified individuals to join our team! Seeking personable and energetic individuals who are interested in working in a food manufacturing environment.
Will be required to, but not limited to:
Daily:
· Check Ishidas scales condition prior to set up and start.
· Check the production schedule with production supervisor.
· Pick film, salsas, and labels scan them in and out of E21.
· Load up all machines with correct film and tube former.
· Start machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.
· Assure correct code dates and position on package, aim for perfect package.
· Check metal detector and record findings as needed, fix with mechanics if necessary.
· Keep all machines running smoothly and change over whenever necessary.
· Communicate with Fryer Operator of Changing needs.
· Assist packers with boxes, change bags and containers as needed.
· Minor maintenance repairs to equipment.
· Keep track of all materials used.
· Do certification audits, sanitation and SOP checklist.
· Do the clean-up necessary to position.
· Manage product overflow containers.
· Ensure Food Safety and GMP’s are followed in the everyday basis.
· Keep the area clean.
· Communicate with Maintenance with problems/issues.
· Assist with sanitation.
*And any other duties assigned by Supervisor
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Lock Out Tag Out
· Follow all Food Safety regulations
· Wear hearing protection in all areas of the plant
· Follow all common employee safety practices
· Must wear proper PPE (Non slip steel toe shoes mandatory)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Lift between 10 and 30 pounds on a continuous basis.
Follow all food safety and employee safety practices, consistent use of lock out tag out procedures and personal protective equipment.
Must have HS diploma/GED, be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible for employment in the United States.
Must demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills, and be ready to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Rudolph Foods Company is a family oriented and owned company with over 60 years of commitment in producing the best tasting pork rinds.
