3Rd Shift Machine Assistant Operator

A Machine Assistant Operator is responsible for assisting the machine operator in setting up, operating, and maintaining machines that perform various tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, or assembling materials. A Machine Assistant Operator may also perform quality checks, troubleshoot problems, and report any issues to the machine operator or supervisor. A Machine Assistant Operator must have basic mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist the machine operator in setting up, operating, and maintaining the machines
2. Perform quality checks on the products and report any defects or issues to the machine operator
3. Load and unload materials and products from the machines
4. Follow safety rules and regulations and wear protective equipment
5. Keep records of production data and inventory

Requirements

1. Basic math and reading skills
2. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
3. Attention to detail and accuracy
4. Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 50 lbs
