Description:
- This individual will be supporting all operational aspects of and administering our client's ActiveBatch processing/job scheduling operations.
- This includes designing and implementing all new ActiveBatch jobs according to project request requirements.
- Responsibilities include monitoring, managing, and reacting to batch and scheduled jobs, system upgrades, SFTP processing, and communicating with client tech support when setting up jobs.
- Training new employees on the use of job scheduler (ActiveBatch).
- This critical position requires excellent troubleshooting skills, acute attention to detail, and heavy interaction with Bank clients, sys admins, developers, and DBAs to resolve production issues.
- Candidates do not need to have experience with ActiveBatch as long as they have at least 5 years of utilizing a job scheduling tool and strong troubleshooting skills.
- This is a 3rd Shift role (Midnight Tuesday Morning - 9am EST Saturday), therefore, they must have the ability to recognize if something is off and escalate/react as quickly as possible due to being by themselves at night before the production day starts
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- They are strictly using SFTP to transfer files in and out.
- Need someone with job scheduling experience that is open to learning ActiveBatch.
- Training will be a mix of day/night work until the candidate is up to speed.
