Job Summary:
Completes post-processing of 3D imaging, in advanced imaging modalities, as required by interpreting physician. 3D imager will manipulate CT and MR images to produce comprehensive image analysis including reformats, multi-planar reformatting, maximum intensity projections and volume rendering.
Position Responsibilities
Utilize education, skill, and experience to determine the appropriate 3D views for diagnosis and pre-surgical planning.
Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of Epic, PACS, Web Viewer, and other hospital-based computer or PC systems.
Consistently provides thorough and accurate documentation. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, practice staff and physicians.
Also, provides instruction to and assists in any training of new 3D Imaging Technologists.
Position Qualifications Required:
Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of either CT or MRI experience with 3D post processing in advanced imaging required.
Comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy required.
Cardiovascular imaging experience preferred.
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
Training / Certification / Licensure: CT: Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
CT Certification
Or MRI: Advanced MRI certification & ARRT certification
N.J. DEP licensure required.
CPR certification preferred.
