A. Job Responsibilities
As a 3D CAD Technician / Machine Control Modeler , you will be responsible B. Job FunctionsSummary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

7. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

C. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Ensures all GPS, total Stations, and GPS machines are checked in on a regular basis (Control points and calibration).
2. Perform basic troubleshooting of GPS machinery.
3. Conveys GPS capabilities and limitations to project Superintendent or Foreman for layout expectations.
4. Reads and comprehends plans.
5. Set up digital excavation files and update as required.
6. Create and maintain machine control files and survey files.
7. Maintain up-to-date As-Built files
8. Communicates with Project Management team to gather information to create files and keep them up to date. Also to ensure that each job is running smoothly and is issue free.
9. Additional responsibilities as required.

E. Education and Experience
 

1. Civil Construction, 3 years (Required).
2. Machine Control, 3 years (Required)
3. High School diploma or GED is preferred.
4. AutoCAD 3 years (Required)
5. Surveying 3 years (Preferred)
6. Five (5) years related experience (Required).
7. Willingness and ability to travel to and from job sites.
8. Ability to understand and operate GPS Rover is preferred.
