Minimum 8-10 years experience with Substance Painter and expertise in using Physically Based Rendering (PBR) principles.Job Description:- As a 3D Generalist Artist, you will collaborate closely with Game Designers and our technical lead to create immersive and visually stunning gaming experiences. You will be responsible for translating concepts and references into high-quality 3D graphics and ensuring seamless integration into the game environment.
- Create visually captivating 3D environments, props, objects, and scenes using industry-standard software such as Maya/Houdini, with a strong emphasis on UV mapping and texture creation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in software tools including Maya, Houdini, Blender (optional), Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter, and ZBrush/Mudbox to produce realistic textures, light baking maps, and high-quality 3D assets in both high and low poly formats.
- Generate concept art that effectively communicates visual elements during pre-production stages.
- Possess a basic understanding of Unity 3D and its workflow, with knowledge of rigging considered a plus.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient skills in Maya, Houdini, Blender, Substance Painter, Zbrush/Mudbox.
- Knowledge of Substance Painter and expertise in using Physically Based Rendering (PBR) principles.
- Ability to create compelling concept art and translate it into 3D assets.
- Experience with realistic texture creation, light baking, and delivery of high-quality 3D art.
- Basic understanding of Unity 3D and rigging skills are advantageous.
- Must have commercial project experience demonstrated in a reel or portfolio, with previous game production experience preferred.
