Kiewit is hiring Preventative Maintenance Technicians for the Manh Choh Project located in Tok, AK.

Requirements

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in a related field
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic and 24V electrical systems
• Must be able to work safely in a surface mine environment while performing duties of this position

Additional Information

Shift Information

• Rotating 12-hour shifts on a 2-week on / 1-week off schedule
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights when required

Project Information

The Manh Choh Project is located at the Kinross Gold mine in Tok, AK and includes small open pit mining from which rock will be trucked for processing at the existing Kinross Fort Knox mine, located about 25 road miles northeast of Fairbanks. The project is entirely on land owned and controlled by the Native Village of Tetlin. The mine is estimated to produce for about 4 to 5 years.
