About this opportunity:
Outreach Counselors are part of our Emergency Mental Health Response Services team. These Master's-level Social Workers and Mental Health Counselors are responsible for providing on-site crisis intervention and assessments to individuals in crisis or emergency Mental Health situations in the community. The primary goals of this program are client safety, suicide prevention, and hospital diversion.

- Full-Time
Pay:
- Starting at $51,000 annually, with additional earning potential for on-call hours; exact pay rate will be determined based on prior experience and education levels according to collective bargaining agreement.
Schedule:
- 30 hours/week
- Three (3) 10-hour days/week
Work Setting:
- A portion of the work for this position can be done from a home office, but responsibilities are primarily based onsite and at locations across Erie County.
What you will bring to this position:
- Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, and
- Licensure/permit or permit-eligibility in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- One (1) year of supervised experience (pre- or post-graduate) providing services to individuals in a Mental Health or human service setting.
- A valid NYS driver's license and access to a usable vehicle.
