Organizational Relationships: Works with Operations and Pre-Weigh.
Basic Function:
The Pre-Weigh Stock Clerk is responsible for retrieving and maintaining raw materials for pre-weigh operations. This position takes direction from the Manufacturing Supervisor and will provide timely delivery of materials to the Pre-Weigh department. The Pre-Weigh Stock Clerk will also manage raw material storage with a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
1.Ensures raw materials are approved and marked prior to storing in rack locations.
2.Maintains raw material storage locations with history of pulls and put-aways.
3.Delivers raw materials to designated location in pre-weigh.
4.Locates missing raw materials.
5.Conducts inventory control count.
6.Maintains daily safety checklist for lift equipment.
7.Pulls and preps materials for pre-weigh.
8.Maintains neat and orderly work area.
9.Maintains ODRM’s and Ship Out’s.
10.Working knowledge of Mfg-Pro and Valdata.
11.Maintain supplies, ie: jars, lids, bags, etc.
12.Removes trash, empties drums.
Qualifications:
1.Minimum 6 months experience with a deep reach forklift.
2.Must read / write English.
3.Must work well with addition/subtraction/multiplication and division.
4.Must have license for forklift and deep reach lift trucks
