2Nd Shift Warehouse Packing And Selection

Founded in 1938, Notions Marketing Corporation has grown to be the largest creative arts distributor in the world. We serve our customers by providing trending and staple arts & crafts products for their stockrooms and store shelves. In 2023 we were acquired by Nicole Craft Brands and have since been working to mobilize our owned and exclusive brands of craft products.
Due to anticipated growth in 2024, we are looking to add new Warehouse team members in our Packing and Selection departments! These key roles involve moving products efficiently while collaborating with peers and leaders to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals. You'll learn and perform tasks like order selection, packing, and shipping.
Available Shift & Schedule Details
2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
     Full time: 40 hours
     Part time: 24 hours, scheduled 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. four days per week.
Occasional Saturdays as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Demonstrated consistent work history

 
Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 4 years of previous general labor/warehouse experience  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds without assistance repeatedly.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours for 5-6 days/week.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements regularly (e.g. bending, squatting, crouching, twisting, stooping, and reaching).
• Proficient in English reading, writing, and communication.
• Basic math and matching skills (letter/number combinations)
• High attention to detail.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Reliable attendance, adhering to company policies.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• General computer operating knowledge.
• Immediate perception of auditory warning signals (bells, alarms, and horns) during warehouse operations.

 
Essential Functions

• Packer: Perform quality check on customer orders by verifying product quantities match order invoice. Scan and box all items for orders; fill boxes with proper packing materials as needed. Ensure all packages are correctly labeled with shipping details, adhere to the company’s packaging standards, and comply with carrier requirements.

• Selector: Accurately select product into totes or carts for customer orders in a timely manner and send them to be quality checked, packed, and shipped. Replenish stock by placing product correctly on designated shelves in an organized manner.

Additionally, you will be expected to:

• Lift totes, boxes, and pull carts up to 50 pounds.
• Perform work with efficiency and accuracy in order to maintain production standards and efficiency rates.  
• Communicate to supervisor any inconsistencies with product flow or order details.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, making efficient use of space and following safety guidelines.
