2Nd Shift Production Operator

Purpose:
Perform a variety of finishing activities to support the manufacture of medical devices and implants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates the ability to perform all activities in the finishing department, including but not limited to, Bead blast, Tumbler, Deburr, Heat Treat and Passivation.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Arch Medical Solutions quality procedures.
• Responsible for the set up and operation of various laser marking machines in the department.
• Detects and reports discrepancies or questionable conditions to Production Supervisor.
• Perform laser marking on standard production and custom orders.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of all laser markings/etchings.
• Work with Engineering to assist with programming and fixturing needs, as required.
• Maintain fixture storage controls.
• Perform routine maintenance activities for equipment as per work instructions.
• Adhere to company safety requirements.
• Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience required in basic blueprint reading, measurement of parts utilizing appropriate measuring tools, and basic shop math.
• Demonstrated high level of mechanical hand/eye coordination.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions with strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Light tomoderate physical exertion required.
• Lifting/CarryingMaximum lbs: 50
• Frequentlbs: 1-10
• Regularlyrequired to stand, reach and move about the facility.
