2Nd Shift Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

Work Hours

- Sunday 8am - finish

Monday 4pm - finish

Tuesday 4pm - finish

Wednesday 4pm - finish

Thursday 4pm - finish

Weekends as needed (Must be able to work overtime daily)

- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment such as cherry pickers and reach trucks
- Safely and efficiently move materials and products within the warehouse area
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and shelves using forklifts
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards, while operating forklifts and handling materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Previous experience operating forklifts or other equipment in a warehouse setting
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including loading, unloading, stacking, and securing loads
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in tight spaces and around obstacles
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor in a fast-paced environment
