Title: Flexographic Press Operator

Department(s) Production- Conventional

Reports to Conventional Press Room Manager

2.JOB SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Flexo Press Operator are to ensure the efficiency of the production runs and operate Flexo presses to keep production running smoothly and on-time. Experience with MPS, Mark Andy P-Series, or other Servo-Driven Flexo Presses is a plus!

3.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Prepares jobs for the production run

· Has the ability and knowledge to operate a Flexographic printing press

· Can color match when required

· Ability to read and understand job specifications, printing methods, quality control specs, and finishing procedures

· Can diagnose and correct operation/equipment problems that affect the quality of the finished product

4.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

· Possesses good eye/hand coordination

· Reads and comprehends measurements on a ruler.

· Has great communication skills

5.ABILITIES REQUIRED

· Physical strength and stamina

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

· Must be able to remain standing/walking/ on feet for long periods of time

· Attention to detail

Position is 2nd Shift 3:30pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday
