2Nd Shift Entry Mobile Equipment Operator

Trinity Rail is hiring an 2 nd Shift Entry Mobile Equipment Operator at our Jonesboro plant.

The 2 nd Shift Mobile Equipment Operator position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the Track team at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Operates Mobile Equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move rail cars and materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
What you'll do:

• Operate Mobile Equipment such as lift trucks, overhead cranes, track mobiles/switch engine and/or yard vehicles in order to move materials, cars, and products between workstations and/or receiving and storage locations
• Ensure proper identification of parts and material
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Can operate at least a lift truck 6,000-15,000-pound capacity
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
