Description:

A Cobot Robot Weld Operators primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain the robotic welding system. They will perform welding tasks efficiently and accurately using advanced robotic technology. The role will contribute to the production process, ensuring high-quality welds and meeting production targets. They will collaborate with the supervisor to optimize workflow, troubleshoot any technical issues, and continuously improve the welding process.



Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welding Operations:
    • Operate the collaborative Robot Welding system to perform various welding tasks.
    • Set up welding parameters, including heat, voltage, and wire feed speed, to achieve desired weld quality.
    • Monitor and adjust welding parameters to maintain consistent weld quality and appearance.
    • Conduct weld inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
    • Perform regular maintenance tasks on the robotic welding system, including cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues that may arise during welding operations.
    • Collaborate with engineering technicians to address complex technical problems and minimize equipment downtime.
  3. Quality Control and Documentation:
    • Follow established quality control procedures to ensure weld integrity and adherence to specifications.
    • Conduct visual inspections and use appropriate testing equipment to assess weld quality.
    • Document welding parameters, inspection results, and any deviations from the standard procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in welding or robotics are a bonus.
  • Ability to operate and program collaborative robotic welding systems.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting robotic systems and performing minor repairs.
  • Attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
