Responsibilities:
- Planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.
- Works from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
- Communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly.
- High School Diploma required with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
- AA degree in Machining Technology preferred
- Having served a 4-year tool making apprenticeship preferred
- Proficiency in Milling, Turning, Heat Treat of Tool steels, Surface Grinding.
- Proficient in setup and programming of Wire EDM, Profile Grinding, and Sinker EDM.
- Reads & interprets product blue prints, including geometric tolerance notations.
- Use items such as micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, go/no go gages and any other measuring instruments, as required.
- Ability to program, operate, and measure using metric system required
- Previous CAD/CAM experience required

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $44,700 - $67,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
