Position Summary: This position will provide direct support for all plant equipment and the completion of preventative maintenance needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery when scheduled.
2. Repair equipment based on work order priority and applicable skill level.
3. Mechanical Experience: Ability to determine machine problems, make general repairs, assist others when needed, and suggest improvement when opportunities are identified.
4. Electrical Experience: General understanding of some form of electrical controls that will be built upon through on-the-job training.
5. General understanding of hydraulic and/or pneumatic controls that will be built upon through on-the-job training.
6. Will learn CNC & PLC controls, furnace and electronic controls.
7. Will gain knowledge of installation, maintenance and repair, on equipment and facilities.
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical prints and operation sheets.
9. Gain knowledge of 6S safety and ISO organizational standards.
10. Develop exceptional safety records and promote good safety practices.
11. Detailed oriented, professional attitude, reliable and must be a self-starter.
12. Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without assistance.
13. Maintain records on Maintenance 5000.
14. Interface with all departments and levels of management.
15. Assist others with duties as needed and directed.

Qualifications:

Special Licenses and/or Certificates: Forklift license (AG Class)

Education and/or Experience: High School Graduate or equivalent

Computer Skills: Must be comfortable with Microsoft email.

Other Skills and Qualifications: Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
