Value Stream Leader
Job Overview
Are you a born problem-solver seeking a challenging job in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a talented Value Stream Leader to join our team. Maximize our customer service and satisfaction by optimizing all material movements within our value streams. Working with our team to coordinate seamless delivery of just in time materials, parts, and supplies.
Responsibilities for Value Stream Leader include but are not limited to-
- Safety training and PPE enforcement
- Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure proper clock in/out of direct reports
- Daily production reporting
- Monitor production for adherence to customer specifications
- Training/standard work adherence
- On time production order execution
- Update production schedule
- Implement production changes
- Material Handler traffic control
- Ensure direct reports keep their job sites clean
- Participate in weekly GEMBA walk
- Develop and recommend changes to improve the efficiency, quality, and performance of the manufacturing process
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Value Stream Leader
- Forklift experience
- Team management experience
- Ability to manage a team of direct reporting employees
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet conditions, extreme cold, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
2nd Shift Hours are Monday-Friday from 3:30pm to 2:00am with overtime available
3rd Shift Hours are Monday-Friday from Midnight to 8:00am with overtime available
Pay Rate is $18-$20/hour based on experience and all employees are paid weekly
Relocated to Michigan in 2015, Harloff Manufacturing Company has experienced 6x growth in the past 36 months as a dedicated manufacturer of utility scale solar racking systems (photovoltaic solar) and several other proprietary products. Our primary processes are stamping, roll forming, plasma fabrication, and hand assembly. We are headquartered in Paw Paw, MI and operate additional facilities in Louisiana, South Carolina, and Mexico. We manufacture and distribute product to the contiguous United States.
