Hey. Do you like hummus? Do you enjoy driving long distances and delivering good food to happy people?

About Us:

Obour Foods is a small, San Francisco-based producer of gourmet hummus, tahini, and pita chips. We currently operate in 16 farmers' markets around the Bay Area, a handful of grocery stores, and our flagship brick & mortar retail location at the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace.

Many say our hummus is the best they’ve ever had. We’re inclined to agree.

The Weekend Delivery Driveris an important part of our Bay Area sales & distribution operation that springs into action every Friday through Sunday.

He or she will drive our company vans, delivering and picking up food and equipment across our Bay Area Farmers Markets, grocery stores, and our retail shop.

This position is based out of the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco, 94124 (close to T MUNI line).

Hours:

(10 hrs/week)

Saturdays:

• Morning Shift: 6:00am - 11:00am
• Break: 11:00am - 12:00pm
• Afternoon Shift: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

The ideal candidate can work both morning and afternoon shifts.

This is a W2 position that is eligible for overtime in accordance with CA law.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately pick, count, and pack products into boxes and coolers
• Carefully and efficiently pack cargo vans with coolers and equipment
• Safely and courteously drive company cargo vans to multiple destinations - delivering and picking up from grocery stores and Farmers Markets.
• Unload at HQ and sort products at end of day.

What we’re looking for:

• Efficient and organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
• 1 year minimum of professional delivery experience using cargo vans and/or box trucks
• 2-3 references who can attest to your abilities and work ethic
• Willingness to plug into our highly-organized system and take ownership of the work you do
• Familiarity withspreadsheets. We use Google Sheets to efficiently share information across the company.
• Highly dependable with a good work ethic (punctuality and reliability is a must)
• Fluent in English for the safe and effective performance of the position
• SF-based preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
