#2405 Logistician (LG30)-Hawaii

Role and Responsibilities:

Full Time Logistician position supporting NSWC PHD N Department by providing

Logistics support to the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense Test Complex in PMRF, Hawaii.

Position Qualifications:

• An Associate’s Degree in Business, logistics or Material Management and 4 - 6 years of supply

experience or no degree and 6 - 8 years of supply experience.

• Able to interface with Program Managers, Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians and

Senior Logisticians.

• Able to utilize numerous Navy applications such as One Touch, HMM Tools, HAYSTACK, PDREP, and

Electronic Retrograde Management System (eRMS) to research material for proper identification and

disposition.

• Assist with material inventory and shipment in support of site modernization events and ORDALTs.

• Research PN’s, NSN, NIIN, CIIC, etc. to create procurement requests.

• Responsible for the receipt and inventory of incoming material ensure proper transfer to SMEs.

• Track and expedite urgent material requirements for site using IGC, FedEx, UPS, and other logistics web

base systems.

• Pack, seal and label material for shipment and determined the most appropriate routers and the most

economical rates consistent with the requirements.

• Operates pallet stacker & pallet jack for the safe loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing

material.

• Properly store material and ensue all materials/shipments are properly labeled.

• Must have strong computer Microsoft Office skills:

(MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel/spreadsheets, SharePoint, Outlook, MS Teams)

• Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.

• Able to receive and maintain a security clearance.

• Be punctual, attention to detail, and take good notes.

• Able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.

• Able to follow company policies and procedures.

• Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.

Preferred Skills:

• Navy Logistics/Supply School or previous NAVSEA Logistics experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50lbs.
