'24 Volunteer Coordinator Vista At Domestic Violence Shelter

Member Duties : Complete training and education on the dynamics of Domestic Violence, services and philosophy of Peace at Home Family Shelter, and managing volunteers with an emphasis on program sustainability within the organization. Update and lead the execution of a volunteer program plan for Peace at Home, including identifying volunteer needs, creating volunteer job descriptions and schedules, recruiting potential volunteers, and actively managing volunteers for both direct services and community support. Identify technologies, partnerships, and other supports so that the volunteer program can continue successfully beyond the VISTA project end. Coordinate with staff and VISTA members on volunteer needs. Analyze and report on efforts at the end of the VISTA year term and make recommendations for beyond VISTA program sustainability.
