24 HRS LIVE IN CAREGIVER FOR ELDERLY

CAREGIVER FOR SENIORS NEEDED (LIVE IN) LOCATION - INNER LOOP AREAS  (77026 & 77050) LOCATIONS!!

We are Looking for a **LIVE IN CAREGIVER** for a personal care home to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. We are looking for caring and compassionate caretakers that are ready to work!!

Housing will be included, room and board will be covered. House Grocery included. WIFI included.

Serious Inquiries only!! Must be able to start immediately. Live in means staying in the home for over 24 hours per day. Assisted living setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits, Appointment reminders
• Run errands or accompany them to do their errands
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as washing and ironing laundry, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, etc.
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or verified GED
• Valid CPR Certificate or be able to obtain
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

We are strongly considering candidates with experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Additional Requirements:

• Proof of valid Texas Driver's License (Type C)
• Access to reliable transportation
• Three (3) employment references
• Cleared criminal background check
• Cleared TB test results (current within 12 months prior to employment)
• Cleared drug screen
• Reliable mode of contact (Cellular Telephone, Lan-line; Email, VOIP etc.)

Physical Demands:

Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, frequent sitting, standing and walking, may be required for long periods of time.
