**Position:** Caregivers for 24-Hour Shifts (Stroke Recovery)
**Location:** St Therese in Woodbury, Independent Living Home
**Job Description:**
CareMN Home Care is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide round-the-clock support for a client recovering from a stroke. This position involves 24-hour shifts with the possibility of extending to 48 hours, during which you will be required to sleep on-site and provide Round the clock care. The client resides in independent living at St Therese in Woodbury and requires continuous care due to early-stage memory issues, despite being very independent.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide attentive care and assistance to the client throughout the duration of the shift.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote the client's well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare required.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work effectively in a solo environment.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required by state regulations.
