Provides instruction to students in the 4 subject areas of Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Math, and prepares students for the GED assessment.
Position Description
The AKHS GED program provides instruct to students 3 hours a day in the 4 subject areas listed above. The GED program is a an expedited program where students practice skills in each subject area very rapidly in order to review and gain skills and complete their GED assessments as quickly as possible. The instructor will be teaching the students and supporting them to schedule tests.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a current Oregon Teaching License. Must be proficient in Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Math (through Algebra I).
Experience working with At-risk youth is preferred.
Compensation Salary will be determined by experience and degree level on the current SLSD licensed salary schedule.
