Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week, 8:20am-4:20pm
Caseload/Details: 1:1 with an 18+ female who is medically fragile in a wheelchair - nonverbal, feeding tube, g tube, and ostomy
Supervision: Supervised by the district RN
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to a medically fragile patient under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor vital signs and assess the patient's condition
- Provide wound care and ostomy care
- Assist with feeding and bathing
- Document the patient's care
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license
- Experience working with medically fragile patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
