CMA
This position is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the physician. The Medical
Assistant is responsible for assisting physician with patient care in compliance with the Ohio Administrative
Code. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, routine clinical and administrative duties as
needed to meet the needs of the practice to which it is assigned. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary
from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice
LPN
The physician office LPN (licensed practical nurse) is responsible for the provision of nursing care in the medical office practices of Family Medicine, Primary Care, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Surgery, Physical Medicine, and Podiatry, Attends daily clinical huddles as part of the Care Team and is familiar with the team-based approach
QUALIFICATIONS:
CMA
High School Diploma or Equivalent AND one of the following:
Completion of Medical Assistant Career Tech Program
Completion of School of Medical Assisting
Military Medic Training
Paramedic (EMT-P) Training
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
Completion of Accredited Adult Medical Assisting program
Currently in school pursuing Associate degree or higher
Successful completion of a competency based orientation program.
2+ year's experience working as a medical assistant in PCP practice or like practice for which they are
applying.
Combat Medic deployment if trained in military
Certified by a National Certifying Organization (not limited to those listed below)
CMA
RMA
CCMA
NCMA
NRCMA

LPN
1. Licensed Practical Nurse and in good standing in the State of Ohio
2. Previous clinical nursing experience in physician office care preferred
3. Clinical experience in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, and Surgery preferred.
4. Must maintain CPR certification
Must have ability to give injections
