SalaryTitle: School Psychologist Division: Upper/Lower School Location: ChangeMakers Academy (Vallejo) Reports to: Director of Education and Student Services Status: Full-time, Exempt, (During the Academic Year) Salary Scale: $100,000-121,000 (based on years of experience and expertise) *Scales are competitive with other charter school organizations and local districts. Accounting Code: In order to fulfill our mission, we are seeking a School Psychologist who will serve as an important member of our Academic Team. Essential Job Functions: Data Driven Planning and Assessment Select and administer appropriate assessment methods and materials in order to perform evaluations of students referred for special education assessment Collect, interpret, and synthesize information about students' sensory motor/perceptual functioning, academic achievement, intelligence, social emotional/emotional adjustment, and other factors that influence academic and behavioral functioning. Interpret assessment results and write quality, compliant psychological assessment reports Assist in the development of FBAs and BIPs for students and in the implementation of recommended courses of action based on data and progress monitoring across educational environments Demonstrate progress monitoring strategies as part of the individual student intervention plans, and assist staff in interpreting data as part of the ongoing decision-making process. Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / QualificationsRequired: Education: Bachelor's Degree Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential Valid School Psychologist Credential Other Qualifications: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Within 60 days of hire, provision of TB (tuberculin) clearance, as mandated by the California Education Code CA DOJ and FBI fingerprint (Livescan) clearance prior to the first day of school Preferred: Education: Master's degree in School Psychology or related field Experience: Experience working with diverse student populations, especially multi-language learners Experience with social-emotional learning and restorative practices. Working Conditions: Environment: This job operates in a school/classroom environment. This role routinely uses standard classroom equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, whiteboards, fitness equipment, and Chromebooks, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of this position.
