We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Grand Junction, CO! As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students of all ages and abilities to promote their success in academic, social, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed
Stay up-to-date on best practices in occupational therapy and contribute to ongoing professional development within the team
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Colorado state license in Occupational Therapy
Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
Strong munication and collaboration skills
Dedication to helping students achieve their full potential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and a passion for occupational therapy.
