Job Objective:
Successful management of the daily operation of a natural gas processing facility. Specifically, the associated operating and capital budget, supervision of projects, identifying, evaluating and managing solutions to facility challenges and managing the facility workforce.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manages and reviews daily plant operations.
- Analyzes plant performance for improvements and manages the implementation of identified improvements.
- Prepares Expense/Capital job authorization for expenditures (AFE's)
- Work with engineering/operations team on proper specs for installation of process equipment.
- Manages staff and contract employees to achieve goals within available resources.
- Negotiates time and cost issues with contractors.
- Manage all aspects of PSM program at plant facility.
- Adhere to and manage the required environmental regulations for plant facility.
- Manages all aspects of plant turnarounds - budgets, planning, unexpected occurrences, safety etc.
- Prepare yearly operational expense/capital budgets for plant facility.
- Manage day to day safety expectations
- Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.

- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Supervises personnel and conducts employee performance evaluations.
- Assists with salary administration.
- Assists with hiring and retention of personnel.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.

Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years minimum experience in gas processing facilities or related industry.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
- Outstanding management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook), EAM database, MOC Frontline
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
