Walmart Advanced Systems & Robotics is a rapidly expanding initiative with the objective of revolutionizing the retail landscape through robotics. Our development and implementation of the cutting-edge Alphabot® technology are currently underway, with deployment in stores across North America.
We are seeking a highly motivated network communications intern to join our team. The intern will work closely with our senior Network Engineering team to help design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, experience with Network and Wireless systems, and a passion for problem-solving.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network and wireless systems.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting.
- Help improve our monitoring and alerting systems.
- Assist with test automation and scripting tasks.
- Document processes and procedures.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Currently enrolled in a computer science or related degree program.
- Strong background in network systems.
- Experience with Cisco, WIFI and Cellular.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow.
