Responsibilities:The Summer Associate will provide support for Related Affordable Foundation projects including budgeting, program development, and nonprofit partnership management.

We'll trust you to:*
- Lead Foundation efforts to revamp existing scholarship program, including applicant pool expansion, amend eligibility criteria, and address barriers to higher education.
- Provide thought partnership and contribute to organizational subject-matter knowledge bank and strategy through research in the following areas: health and wellness, workforce development, youth development, and economic development.
- Engage with community-based organizations and conduct site visits at Related Affordable properties.
- Assist with monthly report preparation and review grant applications and performance reports.
- Collaborate with Acquisition, Construction, Portfolio Management and Property Management teams
Compensation
- $40 / hour
Qualifications:You'll need to have:
- A bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Public Policy or equivalent field
- Two (2)+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit or public sector
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A strong passion for social impact, economic mobility and volunteerism
