The DuPont paid co-op programs are designed to provide students with meaningful, hands-on assignments to learn and develop essential skills as you start your career. It's here, during your internship or co-op, where you'll gain valuable real-world experience that will prepare you to be a leader at DuPont.

By integrating classroom theory with practical work, you'll work collaboratively with DuPont professionals on meaningful projects to deliver real-world results. You'll develop a strong network of colleagues in diverse roles, helping you obtain insights that will inform future career choices.

Our US student program includes 10-12 week internships and 3-6 month co-op assignments. The scope and length of your assignment will vary depending on the specific site and function.

Position Specific Information

Our Engineering Co-Ops fill a variety of meaningful positions that provide opportunities for personal and professional development while contributing to DuPont through implementing engineering best practices, performing process analysis and improvement, and participating on projects that improve safety, product quality, and equipment or infrastructure. Examples of typical roles in manufacturing, operations and business are listed below:

+ Manufacturing Technical / Process Engineering

+ Equipment Reliability & Maintenance

As an Engineering Co-op/Intern, you will have opportunities to do the following:

Requirements

The DuPont Co-op/Intern Program seeks top talent. To be considered for enrollment, candidates must meet the following requirements:

+ Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program

+ GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale) (preferred)

+ Geographic flexibility with work assignment and relocation

+ Legal right to work in the U.S. without restriction

The Pay range for this role is $16.10 - $25.30 Hourly

Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual's pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
