Job Summary:
As an Electrical Engineer I, you will be responsible for supporting the Advanced Radar RF and Digital Department. You will be working as a member of a engineering team at the Dallas/Plano/McKinney site and under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in Dallas/Plano, and/or McKinney, Texas.
This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/power circuitry and interfaces.
• Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces.
• Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met through use of SW (MATLAB) tools.
• Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.

• This job is 100% Onsite.

This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Graduate based on the candidate's classification as determined by grad year on resume and provided via questionnaire by candidate as outlined below:

• (Freshman Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• (Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• (Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• (Senior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• (Post-Graduate Technical Intern)- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Graduate by the start of Summer 2024 in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics STEM major.

• Course level work in electronics and electronic components.

• Experience with coding.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard. A 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
• Experience with troubleshooting electronics
• Experience with coding
• Experience with reading and interpreting schematics.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with working in a team environment and manage priorities on multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
