Teaching candidates will be expected to plan for highly engaging in-person learning instruction with clear daily learning objectives.
Dates of Summer Learning include:
- Staff PD and Workdays on June 3rd-June 4th, 2024
- Student learning from June 5-July 3rd, 2024
- Contract Time Monday-Friday 8:15am-3:15pm
- No School June 19th (Juneteenth observed)
- Staff are paid for days worked/hourly; no pay for days not worked
- Prior to June 3rd each site will have staff meetings and collaborative planning time for up to an additional 6 hours of pay to be determined by the Administrative Intern
- The position is contingent upon student enrollment
Compensation:
- The School District of University City offers a competitive salary of $30-$32/hr for the summer SSD Teacher
Pay Dates:
- Days worked June 3rd-June 14th will be paid on June 21st
- Days worked June 17th-July 3rd will be paid on July 12th
