Kiewit is looking for Millwright Mechanical Helper 2for the Blue Sky Carrying (KWFS) located in Taylor, TX.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of previous experience in industrial or in a related area.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required.
Shift Information
- Current schedule is 7:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday.
- Additional overtime may be required.
- Must be willing to work weekends and nights when required.
Additional Information
- All offers are contingent on your ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
- Must have required tools.
Work Environment
- May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Move and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfaces.
- May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across construction/industrial site.
- Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions.
- The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment.
Project Information
The Blue Sky Carrying project is a $17 billion semiconductor fab in Taylor, Texas. The new facility will develop processors for smartphones, 5G, data centers, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence platforms. It will build the chips on behalf of both Samsung and other customers. The 1,200-acre project is expected to cover 6 million square feet when completed. This project calls for an array of disciplines, including electricians, operators, scaffolders, and welders
