SalaryLittle Pines Academy is hiring an experienced early childhood education teacher to work as an Assistant Teacher in our 2YO classroom for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond! We are looking for a motivated, kind, energetic person to add to our team. Responsibilities will include providing support to the Lead Teacher and students during the school day, monitoring children, and providing one-on-one support to children as needed. Additionally, Assistant Teachers must be able to maintain open communication with Lead Teachers, colleagues and administration. Applicants must be a team player and have a passion for fostering growth in children. Our 2YO Classroom has a max of 18 (6 half-day/12 full-day) children with one Lead Teacher and two Assistant Teachers. Applicant must have experience in a licensed 2YO classroom.
POSITION STARTS AUGUST 1, 2024
Employment hours are Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 2:30 pm; holidays and summers off. The school calendar includes a one-week fall break, one-week spring break, one-week Thanksgiving break & 2-week Christmas break.
Assistant Teacher Pay: $15-$16.50 per hour
The position will require a criminal background check through NCDHHS, TB screening, medical/physical & first aid/CPR training (First Aid & CPR provided by Little Pines Academy).
