1St Year Maintenance Technician Apprentice, Baptist Jacksonville

Job Posting Summary

We are looking to add a 1st Year Maintenance Technician Apprentice to our Plant Facilities at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This will be a 4-year internship and operates on a full-time, day shift basis, with the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. 

 

As a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting craftsmen in the completion of assigned duties.

• Shadowing experienced mechanics.

• Assisting with preventive maintenance procedures

• Assisting with troubleshooting and repairs

• Participating in emergency response drills

• Working with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.

• Demonstration of classroom material in an operational setting
