SkyTech Security is hiring for Full-Time Security Officers in the Skokie area immediately!

Multiple State and City Full-Time positions are available at prime locations throughout the Chicago and suburban area. We have immediate openings for unarmed/armed Security Officers at these locations. This person must have outstanding customer service skills and held security-related positions in their recent history. In addition, some locations require typing (basic, from the home keys) and experience in badging, so this is a plus.

General Responsibilities:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid PERC card and a copy of 20-hour training certificate
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work 1st Shift (8am-6pm)
• Must be able to work weekends
• Stable and consistent work history (at least 1 year in security field)
• Must successfully pass a drug screen & criminal background check
• Must have a valid State of Illinois ID or Driver's license
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to provide a High School Diploma/GED
