Position Information:
- 1st shift hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM.
- Starting pay for this position is $16.20 an hour.
- Benefits available Day 1.
Job Summary:
The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) in Hodges, SC has an opening as a Mold Assembler on 1st shift. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions from operating molding assets, setting cores, closing molds, making cores or operation of shakeout equipment. Candidates will also be required lock out equipment to clean and perform setups.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Mold making
- Core setting
- Mold closing
- Shakeout operation
- Core-make
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 months of assembly or manufacturing experience
Top Candidates will also have:
- At least 6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience
- Previous foundry experience
- Computer skills
- Problem solving and decision-making
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Ability to learn all aspects of job assignments
