Job Title: Maintenance Apprentice
Pay rate: $20-$25/hr (Negotiable; Dependent Upon Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the Process Implementation Maintenance Team where they will be part of a highly skilled team of technicians executing a range of Maintenance & Engineering oriented tasks. These include: New Machine Installation, Electrical Service Installation, Controls & Automation, Mechanical tasks, Troubleshooting, and Commissioning. Candidates will be expected to complete a probationary period.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Experience using basic hand tools, reading measuring devices, etc
2. Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
3. Ability to read, write and understand sufficient English to read machinery controls, load types , temperature, time, etc.
4. Must be multi-talented, extremely flexible in work assignments
5. Willingness to integrate into a closely knit team
6. Self Motivated
7. Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
1. 2 year technical degree preferred. (Experience will be accepted in place of education)
2. References available regarding work ethic & attitude.
3. Experience with utilizing hand and power tools
4. Experience working in a technical role and performing extended periods of time performing physical tasks
5. Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
6. Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure
7. Ability to be self-motivated
8. Ability to work from heights (Ladders, Aerial Lifts, Roofs, etc)
9. Ability to work in confined spaces.
